On November 5th, Clean Water Network hosted the first of three webinars in our fall webinar series, titled “The Clean Water Rule: A Historic Moment for our Waterways”.
EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy joined to tell us more about the rulemaking, and to share how thrilled she is that Clean Water Network is working to safeguard our nation’s rivers, lakes, and streams. While Administrator McCarthy’s words were inspiring, the briefing wouldn’t have been complete without Clean Water Network’s own Rachel Conn of Amigos Bravos sharing her expertise and ideas for how Clean Water Network members can take action in their own states.
I’m sharing links to a set of fact sheets from our friends at National Wildlife Federation, Clean Water Action and the EPA.
- National Wildlife Federation’s state specific info on the loss of Clean Water Act protections
- Clean Water Action’s ‘Just the Facts: Protect Clean Water’ Fact Sheet
- EPA’s ‘Ditch the Myth’ Fact Sheet debunking misinformation about the rule
